Cathy Pope Masterclass Sunday 27th February 2011
For singers, singing teachers and anybody interested in how singers perform.
The audience is invited to watch four classical singers in a Masterclass with Cathy Pope with an emphasis on the relationship between interpretation and technique based on the concepts of the Swedish/Italian School of Singing.
After a warm up each singer performs a piece of their choice and is then coached on their interpretation and technique. This provides fascinating insights and is also a sharing of information for other performers. Cathy Pope has had a very successful career on the operatic stage singing leading roles and on the concert platform and teaches locally.
The masterclass will run from 2:00pm to 4:30pm Sunday 27th February 2011 at:
